Whistleblowing
REPORTING ILLEGAL CONDUCT “WHISTLEBLOWING”
Legislative Decree no. 24 of 10 March 2023, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1937
RESERVED FOR STAFF AND COLLABORATORS
EP Spa, in compliance with the provisions of the law and with a view to ensuring correctness and transparency in the conduct of its business, has set up a computerised “Whistleblowing” system, available to anyone who wishes to report situations relevant to the law or internal regulations.
With this vademecum, we report the path to follow to make the report; for further information on company procedures regarding reporting of illicit acts. For the operating methods, the video tutorial made available by the system manager will be sent to you together with the access credentials in the first communication.
FEATURES OF THE REPORTING
The report must refer only to breaches of the law or internal procedures and regulations, including the Code of Ethics. Therefore, reports concerning complaints, personal requests or, more generally, circumstances that are not relevant to the Company may not be taken into consideration.
Reports must be made in good faith, detailed and based on precise and consistent factual elements, also in order not to lose the effectiveness of the tool made available to you. Anyone who makes reports with intent or gross negligence that later prove to be unfounded may be subject to disciplinary sanctions.
REPORT MANAGEMENT
In order to protect the “reporter” and the “reported” as much as possible, the necessary security measures have been adopted: regardless of the choice made by the “reporter” to make a report anonymously or not (as indicated in the following point 6), the confidentiality of the identity of the writer and the content of the report is guaranteed through secure protocols and encryption tools that allow the protection of personal data and information provided. The identity of the reporter is never revealed without his/her consent, except in cases provided for by current legislation. The persons in charge of managing reports are:
SARA PIGOLI and VERONICA SCALVINI
